Located on the Ruta de la Plata, our country house dates back to 1615, being a Monastery of the Order of the Hyeronymites until the Ecclesiastical Confiscation of Mendizabal. In 1851 the Vázquez family built a country house attached to the monastery that would be acquired by the Marquises of Casa Oriol in the mid-twentieth century, modernizing its management and diversifying its productive areas.
Currently, the Cortijo El Esparragal presides over a huge estate of 2,700 hectares. and offers accommodation possibilities, with rooms for events of different kinds. Enjoy gardens, swimming pool, bullring, adventure area, natural and cultural routes, and endless leisure possibilities in contact with nature, tradition and history.
The country house is equipped with 21 rooms located in the old “Señorío” or noble area of the building, all very spacious, with the possibility of including extras, and graciously decorated and equipped for your absolute comfort. From them you can enjoy magnificent views of the garden, the courtyards or the countryside.
Cortijo El Esparragal has six types of rooms: Doubles, Superior Doubles, Superior Deluxe, Triple, Junior Suite and Quadruple.
Bright, welcoming, exquisitely decorated according to the Andalusian stately style… All of them have all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
Our Double Rooms are called “Buena Vista”, “Ecija”, “Martín Gil” and “Brenes”, and include a double bed or two single beds and bathroom.
The Superior Double rooms are “Alanís”, “Arahal”, “Alcalá”, “Estepa”, “Las Navas” and “Puebla de Cazalla”, and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds y baño and offer an added touch of elegance.
They have a cosy lounge and bathroom. They are “Carmona”, “Gerena”, “Lebrija”, “Guillena”, “Osuna”, and “Marchena”.
Comfortable and spacious suite, including bathroom and graciously decorated. Among our Junior Suites we find the “Dos Hermanas”, “La Rinconada”, and the “Constantina”.
Our only Triple room, the “Triana”, has three single beds or a double bed plus a single bed and bathroom.
Finally, the Quadruple, called “La Estrella”, is a comfortable and spacious room distributed in two bedrooms, living room and bathroom, and is equipped with one double bed and two single beds, ideal for family stays.
